LaCimbali M200 won 2022 ADI Design Index award

We are delighted to announce that LaCimbali M200, the new flagship of the professional coffee machines we have designed for Gruppo Cimbali, has received a prestigious award by becoming part of the ADI Design Index 2022, the preliminary selection of possible candidates for the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award.

Designed to be a protagonist, in M200 every side is designed to be displayed, flaunting lightness and power, marking a step forward in the aesthetics and recognizability of the brand.

The LaCimbali M200 combines a passion for excellent coffee with a desire for functional and intelligent ergonomics, designed around the barista’s needs and spontaneous gestures.

With various ergonomic solutions, such as an adjustable drip tray, inclined manual steam lances, soft touch materials, and rotating displays, the M200 becomes a true extension of the barista’s skill, enhancing customer interaction.

ADI Design Index is the annual selection of ADI Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, Italy’s leading design association since 1956. The collection includes the best design put into production and selected by ADI’s Permanent Design Observatory, including products from every commodity, with a focus on sustainability. Only products selected in the ADI Design Index can participate in the ADI Compasso d’Oro.
