Brief
FEB31st, an eyewear brand, and Riva1920, an Italian company in furniture, are two undoubted excellences of wood and Made in Italy quality. V12 Design’s role was to cross their paths in an extraordinary project. FEB31st created the fine workmanship, Riva1920 brought the experience and knowledge of Kauri wood, and we designed the collection.
Solution
The result was a collection of eyewear made of Kauri wood, an extraordinary material mined from underground in New Zealand, where this unique wood has aged for about 48,000 years. Hence the name of this capsule collection, as a tribute to Kauri wood, its purity and its famous “golden grain.”
