Brief
Performance, to be achieved, needs clarity, cleanliness and respect for function, and to be enhanced, it needs refined proportions and fine materials. With this approach we have designed the new Bicocca, the spearhead of the Rocket range in the prosumer sphere. When within our team we talk about the design of Bicocca, we talk about “architecture,” because here more than ever we were guided by an interplay of proportion and volume.
Solution
The body of the machine presents the visual solidity necessary to convey the great technical capacity of this product, but at the same time the sloping lower face conveys a sense of lightness and elegance amplified by the cantilevered basin: robustness and dynamism. The architectural approach returns in filigree when we look at the design of the sides, inspired by ” ashlar,” a characteristic element of fine Renaissance architecture.
