Brief
Leximore is an interactive board game for the rehabilitation and therapy of language and cognitive skills, dedicated to children and young adults. The project was born from the collaboration between Politecnico di Milano and the University of Milano-Bicocca, thanks to the members of a multidisciplinary team: Eleonora Beccaluva, Mathyas Giudici, Lucilla Guidotti and Fabiano Riccardi. V12 Design was its mentor and creator of naming, logo, communication and illustrations.
Solution
Our V12 Design team came up with every graphic aspect of the project: logo, illustrations, board and card layouts were designed to give Leximore a recognizable identity. The naming “Leximore” came about by borrowing German architect Mis Van Der Rohe’s quote “Less is more.” It was from this very quote that we also drew inspiration to generate the logo: combining the “X,” the connecting letter between “Less ” and “More” in the famous quote, with a symbol representing Seshat, goddess of writing and literature, the “Heavenly Librarian”. In 2024, Leximore won the Startcup Lombardia award, ICT & Services category.
