Coffee machines, museum and communication
A holistic alliance: from the world's most famous coffee machines to the museum of their history.
2007 - 2022
Our relationship with Gruppo Cimbali, which brings together the LaCimbali, Faema and Casadio brands, began in 2007 with product design, involved numerous areas of communication and graphics, and then expressed in extraordinary projects such as the creation of the Mumac museum, which we curated together with Arkispazio. One of the assets of this splendid relationship is the close and fruitful dialogue with the R&D department, which we work alongside to translate our boldest designs into reality.
The collaboration with Gruppo Cimbali began with the restyling of the M24 and M34 coffee machines, and then continued with the design of the S30 and S60. The results, starting with the Red Dot Award and Good Design Award won by the latter designs, are good and the collaboration continues. Next, we are commissioned to design the centenary machine, the M100, the flagship with which LaCimbali wants to celebrate the brand’s history and, at the same time, project it into the future. In 2010, the challenge becomes even more daunting: we are asked to design a museum dedicated to the history of coffee machines.
Being the world’s largest and most famous manufacturer of professional coffee machines makes Gruppo Cimbali a true ambassador of Made in Italy. We have made so many models of coffee machines, always striving for an aesthetic that would go beyond fashions and the passage of time. The awards we have achieved make us proud of our achievement and aware that we have satisfied the taste of coffee lovers from all over the world, as is also demonstrated by the latest masterpiece created together with the Group: the M200.
