Brief
For us, design is conceived as a process of synthesis between aesthetics and usability, where formal simplification becomes the primary means of enhancing the product’s character. In this project, the architecture of the door does not develop through the superimposition of elements, but through a methodical act of subtraction: the handle is not an applied accessory, but the result of a geometric incision that answers a structural necessity.
Solution
This is not a minimalism of absence, but rather a considered management of signs, in which every inclined plane and every sharp edge has its own raison d’être; by removing all superfluous layers, function emerges directly from the material, transforming the surface into a dynamic volume. It is an architectural object in which light, reflecting across the facets of the opening, traces the path of movement, celebrating a rational, precise and wholly authentic spatiality.
