Brief
Innovation is an often overused word. Instead, the new Elective range we designed is an excellent example of “innovative thinking” applied to high-end coffee grinders, with which LaCimbali challenged us to develop an object that is both cutting-edge and refined.
Solution
Behind its sleek, streamlined design is an extraordinary combination of precision mechanics and electronics. Automotive influences are visible in the display area and at the base of the hopper: a generous air intake accommodates the air needed to cool the grinders.
