Brief
“Barrique, the third life of wood” is the project aimed at giving new life to the wood of the barrels in which the wine produced by the Community ages. Together with other internationally renowned designers, we lent our creativity, and just as lost souls are reborn in San Patrignano, so the staves are reborn, becoming objects that excite.
Solution
In keeping with the material and the elegant silhouette of the stave, we came up with two simple and proportionate wall sconces: Horn and Arco. We don’t like decorations; they always seem to us an afterthought, a superfluous and false addition to strengthen an initially weak design.
