Brief
The Intarsio collection was born as a pure creative idea developed thanks to in-depth research that allowed the development of a specific production technology capable of combining Budri’s excellent craftsmanship skills with the creativity of Valerio Cometti+V12 Design. Each Budri Eyewear model encapsulates Italian manufacturing art, it is a design object that goes beyond fashions and trends because it is rich in meaning, value and uniqueness.
Solution
Together with Budri, we created the Capsule Collection Intarsio as a tribute to architecture and art. Composed of nine never-before-seen designs, the collection evokes three eras of great artistic prestige – Baroque, Neoclassicism and Renaissance – with inlays inspired by the richness of the floors of that period. The frames require forty production steps to make and symbolize the perfect all-Italian balance of craftsmanship, manufacturing technology and authentic design.
