Brief
Designing a new product means working with precision on the balance between innovation and recognizability. In a strongly identity-driven brand like Rocket Espresso, every design decision must help reinforce the existing DNA without freezing it in time. With the R58 Tune, the project fits into a coherent product range vision, where continuity and change coexist to renew the product’s formal and perceptual language.
Solution
The brand’s distinctive design elements have been reinterpreted and refined into a cohesive system. The side display evolves from a functional feature into the focal point of the user experience—taller, more prominent, and seamlessly integrated into the overall interaction.
The angled feet redefine the product’s stance, giving it a strong, purposeful presence on the countertop.
The volume is distilled into a compact, monolithic form—clean, rigorous, and capable of expressing manufacturing excellence through pure geometry and meticulously controlled surfaces.
