Brief
Creating a second family of doors of the very highest calibre—an expression of luxury and technology for an international brand—is always an exciting challenge. Our design approach shifts towards a pursuit of pure form, capable of ennobling function through the strength of volume. The guiding idea is that of a material shaped to receive the human gesture: rather than adding components, we have carved into the surface with a bold, sculptural intent. The grip for opening thus arises from a deep chamfer, a harmonious incision that seems to erode the mass in order to reveal its most intimate core.
Solution
It is an economy of form that replaces decoration with the intensity of absence. Every curved junction and every variation in depth is not ornamental, but essential to a monolithic body that rejects the superfluous in order to focus on its own substance. The door thus becomes a vibrant architectural presence, where dense shadows define the space required for action. In this interplay of weight and volume, function is celebrated in its most tactile, profound, and sculptural dimension.
