Brief
LaCimbali Supera marks a new benchmark within the Group’s espresso machine range, designed to offer a single model capable of addressing multiple market segments through two distinct versions: Senso and Dolce Vita. The project combines the brand’s renowned technological and engineering excellence with a design that embodies the balance between tradition and innovation. The Senso version consolidates the performance and reliability of the current range, optimizing them from both a technical and economic standpoint to ensure maximum accessibility. The Dolce Vita version, on the other hand, integrates the latest developments from LaCimbali’s R&D, reflecting new consumption habits and the evolving skills of today’s baristas.
Solution
We conceived Supera as a unified yet flexible platform, capable of standing out through its distinct identity and performance while maintaining a consistent aesthetic and functional language. The two versions are visually differentiated through details and materials: Dolce Vita expresses its premium soul with metal profiles and side panels, while Senso embraces a more essential and functional approach. The platform brings these two identities together through formal coherence, ergonomic design, and ease of use—enhancing the barista’s gestures and the overall sensory experience of coffee.
