Brief
The Wave cupboard is part of a larger collection designed for the new generation of affluent Chinese who have often lived in Europe and the United States, developing a taste that straddles their own Chinese tradition of visual richness and decoration with the more minimal and rigorous proportion of Western furniture.
Solution
With the Wave cupboard, which is part of a very large range, we wanted to bring a sense of dynamism and movement into the living room: a three-dimensional shape elegantly wrapped in leather with a diamond finish. No handles to disturb the very clean design, and all doors and drawers are accessible through push-pull mechanisms.
